These IRWIN® 1-1/16-inch Hex-Shank Pole Auger Drill Bits have a medium-fast screw point that is great for general wood-drilling applications. Each auger bit has an extra-long twist for drilling in large poles, construction timbers and other timber applications. The cutting spur on these auger bits scribes the outside of the hole during drilling for a smooth, clean hole. Each auger drill bit has a 7/16-inch adaptable hex shank that can be removed for a round shank.
